The Offer: Three bonus tiers available for opening a new Capital One savings account and completing requirements. No offer expiration listed.

Eligibility: 

  • Nationwide.
  • If you have or had an open 360 Performance Savings, 360 Savings, 360 Money Markey, Savings Now, or Confidence Savings account as a primary or secondary account holder on or after January 1, 2022, you will not be eligible for this bonus.
 

Step 1: Open a new 360 Performance Savings account with promo code BONUS1500

Step 2: Initial Funding Period. Deposit a total of $20,000 or more in new money from externally sourced funds within 15 days of account opening (Initial Funding Period). 

Step 3: Hold period. You will earn a bonus once you’ve maintained an account balance at or above the deposit amount of $20,000 or more for 90 days following the “Initial Funding Period”.

The bonus amount will depend on the minimum balance maintained:

  • Tier 1: $20,000 to $49,999.99 = $300 Bonus.
  • Tier 2: $50,000 to $99,999.99 = $750 Bonus.
  • Tier 3: $100,000 or more = $1,500 Bonus.
Step 4: The bonus will be deposited to your account within 60 days after completing requirements.

Overall: Given the base rate of 3.80% APY, the bonus is a good opportunity for those looking to increase their overall return on a high yield savings account. Downside is you need to tie up a large amount of cash for a minimum of 90 days. I completed this offer and the bonus was posted a lot sooner that the 60 days mentioned in the T&Cs (see DPs below).
