Summary & Links

The Good:

-No DD requirements.

-$400 bonus is competitive. This is a huge increase from the previous $200 offer.

The Bad:

– Business Checking account has a MSF of $12. Business Checking Plus account has an MSF of $22. The “Business Checking” account MSF can be waived meeting any of the following requirements:

  • $500 average monthly collected balance.
  • Use a linked PNC business credit card to make a minimum of $500 in eligible purchases.
  • Maintain an eligible Merchant Services account and generate a minimum of $500 in qualifying monthly processing deposits.
-PNC is known to be EWS sensitive.

-EATF of $25 if account is closed within 6 months from opening.

Overall: The bonus increase to $400 draws much attention. Some reports of initial denials followed by requests to complete a virtual appointment with a banker to open. This one is worth doing if you can get approved.

There is also a $1,000 bonus tier available for the “Treasury Enterprise Plan” account, but that requires a much higher $30,000 average daily balance for 3 statement cycles.
